10th International Conference on Maintenance and Rehabilitation of Pavements (MAIREPAV10)

The MAIREPAV10 was held in Guimaraes, Portugal, from 24 to 26 July 2024. The conference aims to promote and discuss the state-of-the-art on design, assessment, observation, maintenance, rehabilitation, and management of pavements. MAIREPAV10 is focused on sustainable maintenance and rehabilitation of pavements which is becoming a key challenge in most countries. Thus, the primary objective of this conference is to exchange state-of-the-art know-how and innovation among researchers, government and private agencies, consultants and constructors for building and maintaining long-lasting road pavements.

The conference was organised by the University of Minho, Portugal, and the international Society for Maintenance And Rehabilitation of Transport infrastructures (iSMARTi). It was held at the Centro Cultural Vila Flor in Guimaraes. Guimaraes is known to be one of the most beautiful and historical cities in Portugal and was declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO in 2001.

There were over 200 participants from different countries including Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Columbia, France, Greece, India, Italy, Japan, Korea, New Zealand, Nigeria, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom, USA etc.
