The Pavement Engineering Society (PES) consists of engineers and scientists whose research activities concentrate on the optimization of pavement performance, through the study of the interactions between pavement structure, loading, materials, and environment. The aim of the society is to provide economical solutions to the road infrastructure needs of Singapore.
29th PES AGM
PES’ 29th AGM was held successfully on 8 February 2023 at the Singapore Polytechnic Graduates’ Guild.

12th Asia Pacific Conference on Transportation and the Environment (APTE) 2022
The 12th APTE 2022 was held online from 11 to 12 November 2022 in Xi’an, China. The event was organised by Chang’an University, China and supported by the Pavement Engineering Society (Singapore) as well as the Asian Pavement Engineering Society (APES).

27th Singapore Symposium on Pavement Technology (SPT 2022)
The 27th SPT 2022 was held at Holiday Inn Singapore Orchard Centre on 18 Nov 2022. The symposium was jointly organised by the Pavement Engineering Society (Singapore) and the Center for Transportation Research of the National University of Singapore, and supported by the Asian Pavement Engineering Society.

26th Singapore Symposium on Pavement Technology (SPT2021 e-Symposium)
The SPT 2021 was held online on 25 Nov 2021. The symposium was jointly organised by the Pavement Engineering Society (Singapore) and the Center for Transportation Research of the National University of Singapore, and supported by the Asian Pavement Engineering Society. The symposium had received a total of 445 registered participants from 28 countries.

12th International Conference on Road and Airfield Pavement Technology (ICPT), Colombo, Sri Lanka, 14 to 15 July 2021.
The 12th ICPT 2021 was held online in Columbo, Sri Lanka from 14 to 15 July 2021. It was the first time the ICPT was held online due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The conference is a longstanding event that brings together road and airport pavement researchers, engineers, and governmental officials to promote pavement technological advancement worldwide. The event was organised by the University of Moratuwa (Transportation Engineering Division) and supported by the Highway Engineering Society of Sri Lanka and the International ICPT Steering Committee.
25th Singapore Symposium on Pavement Technology (SPT 2000), 19 Nov 2020
The SPT 2020 was held online on 19 Nov 2020. The symposium was jointly organised by the Pavement Engineering Society (Singapore) and the Center for Transportation Research of the National University of Singapore, and supported by the Asian Pavement Engineering Society. It was the first time the annual symposium was held online due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
